AJ Allmendinger posted the fastest lap in second practice for this weekend’s Dodge Challenger 500 at Darlington Raceway.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. was second-fastest, while Dave Blaney was third-fastest.

Haas CNC driver Scott Riggs hit the wall and will need to go to a backup car. Patrick Carpentier of Evernham Motorsports also hit the wall, but will not need to go to a backup car.
