Tony Stewart, Elliot Sadler Crash On Lap 2 Of Dodge Challenger 500

Elliot Sadler and Tony Stewart got together on lap 2 of the Dodge Challenger 500 when Sadler drove down in turn 1 under Stewart. He got his left front tire on the apron, he wiggled a little bit and slid up the track into Stewart, which turned Sadler into the outside wall.

After the incident, Salder stopped and Stewart pulled up next to him and gave him a very sarcastic thumbs up.

Sadler took the blame for the accident calling it:

A rookie mistake that I shouldn’t have made.
