Biffle Frustrated With Last Place Finish In Dodge Challenger 500
Greg Biffle, pole winner for the Dodge Challenger 500 at Darlington Raceway, led 95 laps early and appeared to have the car to beat for the early part of the race.
While Kyle Busch had a faster car, Biffe’s seemed to drive much better and he navigated through lapped traffic better than Busch.
On lap 193, Biffle pitted for a unscheduled stop, due to a vibration. He managed to regain the lead when when the rest of the field pitted.
But, 40 laps later, he had to pit again, this time with a blown engine.
It’s just real frustrating. I give it 110 percent as a driver all the time and you just want your equipment to last and be able to win these races. They’re so hard to win these days. You can deal with a flat tire or something like that, but when it’s self-induced it makes it even harder. It makes it so hard to swallow when it’s self-induced like that.
