Hamlin Wins Heluva Good 200

Denny Hamlin cruised to victory in the Heluva Good 200 from Dover Internation Speedway, earning Joe Gibbs Racings’s ninth victory in the Nationwide Series this season.

Kyle Busch had a decent car that could have contended for the win. On a restart late in the race, he got a run on his Braun Racing teammate Jason Leffler. Busch went to the outside. Leffler got really loose and chased it up the track and collected Busch. Both cars made hard contact with the wall, ending their days.

Top 10: Hamlin, Carl Edwards, David Stremme, David Reutimann, Greg Biffle, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowki, Mike Wallace, Clint Bowyer, and Kasey Kahne.

Notables: Dario Franchitti (15th), Kevin Harvick (17th), Leffler (27th), and Busch (28th).

Give a call to Joey Logano. In his first Nationwide start, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver finished sixth.

In his first race since suffering a broken ankle at Talladega, Dario Franchitti finished 15th.
