Jeremy Mayfield has hired Bill Diehl as he prepares to fight his suspension from NASCAR due to failing a drug test.

While Diehl is working with Mayfield, he said no suit has been filed.

Diehl represented Elliott Sadler in his dispute with Richard Petty Motorsports after reports surfaced that AJ Allemdinger would replace Sadler in the No. 19 Dodge.
