Scene Daily is reporting that Martin Truex Jr is expected to be announced as the driver of Michael Waltrip Racing’s No 55 Toyota next season. Bass Pro Shops, however, is expected to stay with Earnhardt Ganassi Racing no matter what happens with Truex.
MikeMulhern.net is reporting that Danica Patrick might join Hendrick Motorsports, with Dale Earnhardt Jr moving over to JR Motorsports, becomming a teammate to Brad Keselowski. Mutliple people have denied this though, and MM has been wrong before. So, time will tell if this is true.
Joey Logano used pit strategy to win a rain-shortened Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, earning his first career Sprint Cup victory. Logano became the youngest winner in Cup series history at 19 years, one month, and four days.
Ron Hornaday won the MemphisTravel.com 200 at Memphis Motorsports Park in dominating fashion, leading 175 of 201 laps. The win is his second consecutive victory in the Camping World Truck Series.
Kyle Busch passed Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Joey Logano with 35 laps to go in the Camping World RV 200, and never relinquished the lead, earning his fifth Nationwide Series victory this season.

JR Motorsports announced that road course ringer Ron Fellows will pilot its No. 5 Fastenal Chevy in two Nationwide Series road course races. Fellows will drive at Watkins Glen International and Cirque Gilles Villeneuve in August.
