If Richard Childress Racing can’t secure sponsorship for next season, the team may trim back to two teams. Shell, of the No. 29 Chevy driven by Kevin Harvick, and Jack Daniels, of the No. 07 Chevy driven by Casey Mears, are currently not signed for next season. Also, Roush Fenway Racing will have to cut one team next season to be under NASCAR’s four team limit. One team will move to Yates Racing next season, but the team has not decided which one. Jamie McMurray’s contract is also expiring.
