Danica Patrick visited Stewart Haas Racing ^[1] Monday for a personal tour of the shop. Could this be an indication that she might be working on a deal with the team? Who knows. She was introduced to Ryan Newman, crew chief Tony Gibson, and other SHR officials, which leads me to think that this tour was anything but recreational. That said, Patrick could be trying to secure a bigger Indy Racing League deal by creating the appearance that she wants to go to NASCAR. She’s done it before ^[2].
