Menard A Candidate For RCR’s No. 07?

Jayski is reporting ^[1] via ESPN Insider ^[2] (password required) that Paul Menard has denied speculation that he may replace Casey Mears in Richard Childress Racing’s No. 07. It was reported last week that he was touring RCR’s race shop. Rumor has it that Menard is unhappy with the merger between Yates Racing and Richard Petty Motorsports.
