NASCAR Changes Size Of Plates

NASCAR has decided to change the size of restrictor plates used at Talladega Superseedway in an attempt to slow the cars down and keep them from going airborne. The plate will be reduced 1/64th of an inch, bringing the size to 59/64ths of an inch. That should shave about 12 horsepower from the engines. Also, NASCAR will allow teams to use side wickers on the rear wings at Talladega. That should settle the rear ends down a little bit.
