According to FoxSports, it seems that Jamie McMurray is slated to drive Earnhardt Ganassi Racing’s No. 1 car next season, but the hold up appears to be Bass Pro Shops, which is going to sponsor the car. BPS wants to move to Stewart Hass Racing’s No. 39 and Ryan Newman. Also, EGR is considering a switch from Chevy to Toyota, but is looking for someone to supply engines as Toyota Racing Development does not have the capacity.
