Furniture Row Racing has hired Mark McArdle to serve as managing director of competition for its No. 78 team. Ryan Coniam was also promoted to crew chief while Pete Rondeau was hired as car chief for the 78. Rondeau and McArdle worked together at Richard Petty Motorsports, and Coniam and driver Regan Smith worked together at Ginn Racing. So, FRR hopes there won’t be a steep learning curve.
