Gene Nead is joining Randy Moss Motorsports as crew chief for the No. 5 team and driver Mike Skinner. He comes to RMM from JTG Daughtery’s No. 47 Nationwide team.  Nead was announced as Michael Waltrip’s interim Sprint Cup Series crew chief in August. He was expected to be the crew chief for Waltrip this season, as he moves to a part time schedule.
