Denny Hamlin tore his ACL while playing basketball in January. At the time, he decided to postpone surgery until the end of the season. Now, he has decided to go ahead with the surgery on Monday. He said that it wouldn't be worth it to do more damage. But, was there another factor leading to the change of heart?
