Can’t say I completely disagree with you. I don’t think it was a wise choice to come down pit road and give up track position. But I do see McGrew’s logic behind the decision since they didn’t lose any positions coming into the pits.

Still, I think it was good for Dale Jr to show he has faith in McGrew, even if the strategy doesn’t pay off. In the long run, it’ll be better for everyone if Dale Jr listens to his crew chief.

I think Dale Jr should’ve argued with the Lance about making that pit stop. He was running 14th and could’ve been up to 12th with Hamlin and Busch pitting.

It was a stupid, stupid call to come down and give up track position.
