Source: Budweiser Had Talks With RCR

ESPN ^[1] is reporting that a source said that Richard Childress Racing has discussed a deal with Budweiser to replace Shell/Pennzoil, which just announced it is leaving the team ^[2] at the end of the season. With Kasey Kahne leaving Richard Petty Motorsports ^[3] to join Hendrick Motorsports, Budweiser is said to be looking to move to another team. Recently, Budweiser officials were seen with Ty Norris ^[4] of Michael Waltrip Racing.
