Michael Waltrip Racing announced that Patrick Carpentier will drive the No. 99 NAPA Toyota in the NAPA Auto Parts 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal in August.
In 2007, Carpentier won the pole for this race and finished second in both 2007 and 2008. In 2009, he also ran well in this race before a mechanical issue.
