Regan Smith was injured when he was involved in a multi-car wreck on a restart at Infineon Raceway. Cars stacked up in front of Smith and he ended up spinning and suffering major front-end damage.

Smith fractured his scaphoid bone, which is located at the base of the thumb. For this weekend’s Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Smith has been fitted with a custom-molded splint.
