Bodine Dominates Nashville 200; Expands Points Lead

Todd Bodine dominated the Camping World Truck Series’ Nashville 200 at Nashville Superspeedway, leading 91 0f 150 laps. The win increased Bodine’s points lead to 174 over second-place Aric Almirola.

Bodine, the pole-sitter, had trouble early, pitting for a flat rear tire. Fortunately, the field was under caution. He caught a break when the caution came out after some of the leaders pitted under green.

Top 5: Bodine, Austin Dillon, Aric Almirola, Timothy Peters, and Johhny Sauter.

Ron Hornaday, Matt Crafton, Brian Ickler, Justin Lofton, and Ken Schrader finished sixth through 10th, respectively.

Notables: Mike Skinner (11th), David Starr (14th), Ricky Carmichael (15th), James Buescher (16th), Bobby Hamilton Jr (24th), and Carl Long (35th).

Mario Gosselin and Joe Aramendia got together during the race. Gosselin climbed from his damaged truck and threw a piece of hose at Aramendia, who was still running under caution.
