Two-time DTM champion Mattias Ekström will test Red Bull Racing’s No. 83 Toyota at North Wilkesboro Speedway in the hopes of making his second Sprint Cup Series start on Sept. 11 at Richmond International Raceway.
Ekström piloted the car in the Toyota Save/Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway. He qualified 38th, and finished 21st after leading seven laps.
