NASCAR Takes Two Cars, Four Engines To R&D Center

Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 11 Toyota Camry and Hendrick Motorsports’ No. 48 Chevy Impala failed to pass the height sticks on the first attempt during post-race inspection. After the shocks cooled down, both cars passed, but NASCAR took pictures of the cars before they passed.

Richard Childress Racing’s No. 33 Chevy Impala and Roush Fenway Racing’s No. 6 Ford Fusion were taken to the research and development center in North Carolina for further analysis.

NASCAR also took engines from RCR’s No. 33, JRG’s No. 11, RFR’s No. 6, and Whitney Motorsports’ No. 46 Dodge.
