NASCAR will elminate the fuel catch can in both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup series starting in 2011, according to SceneDaily.com. NASCAR spokesman Ramsey Poston confirm that both series will move to a self-venting fuel can next season, similar to the one currently used in the Camping World Truck Series.
The move will allow teams to send six crew members over the wall instead of seven, which should help save money.
