According to ESPN.com , Kevin Harvick Inc and Richard Childress Racing will merge their Nationwide Series teams beginning in 2011.
Under the agreement, RCR will stop fielding Nationwide Chevys in 2011, instead making its stable of drivers available to drive KHI’s No. 33 Chevy. RCR will also provide chassis, engine, and technical support to KHI. The team will still receive engines from Earnhardt-Childress Racing engines in its N’Wide and Camping World Truck series programs.
RCR will still field a CWTS Chevy for Austin Dillon, and another driver that is yet to be named. Meanwhile, Elliott Sadler has been in talks with KHI about driving one of their entries at least part time next season.
