Brendan Gaughan will drive TRG Motorsports No. 71 Chevy at this weekend’s Kobalt Tools 500 at Phoenix International Raceway. He will bring South Point Casino, his Nationwide Series sponsor at Rusty Wallace Inc, to the No. 71.

Team owner Kevin Buckler said:

We know Brendan from last year when he raced one of our Porsches at Montreal to get additional laps preparing for the Nationwide race. He was a great teammate for us and did a fantastic job in the car and we are really glad to have him back on board. He has always done well at Phoenix and it makes sense from a business stand point for him as well. Having the experience and top finishes in the trucks and Nationwide will go a long way in getting acclimated back into a Sprint Cup car. This is going to be good!
