Furniture Row Racing’s over-the-wall pit crew for the team’s No. 78 Sprint Cup Chevy and driver Regan Smith will be employed and trained by Stewart Haas Racing, the team announced.
As part of the agreement, Joe Piette, pit crew coach of the No. 14 crew of Tony Stewart and the No. 39 crew of Ryan Newman, will supervise the No. 78 crew.
