Martin ‘Absolutely, Without A Doubt’ Plans To Race In 2012

Mark Martin, who is entering the final year of his contract with Hendrick Motorsports and will be replaced in 2012 by Kasey Kahne, said that he was not done racing, and wouldn’t retire in 2012.

At Wednesday’s media session, Martin said:

I’m absolutely, without a doubt, going to be driving race cars next year, just not going to be in any hurry to worry about that. I’m focused on 2011 and really enjoying being a part of Hendrick Motorsports.

He later added that it was too early to be thinking about 2012 and that questions about his 2012 plans would be answered late in the season.
