Tommy Baldwin Racing announced that Golden Corral will sponsor the team’s No. 36 Sprint Cup entry for 19 of the remaining 28 races this season, and will serve as an associate sponsor for the rest. Dave Blaney will drive the No. 36 Golden Corral Chevrolet beginning this weekend at Richmond International Raceway.
Golden Corral and TBR will run the “Racing for America’s Families” for each race. Each time the No. 36 Golden Corral Chevrolet finishes in the top-10, Golden Corral will offer a one-day “Kids Eat Free” promotion the immediate Monday following the top-10 event. Golden Corral will also make a $5,000 donation to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) on behalf of its operators.
Ed Gleich, VP of National Marketing for Golden Corral, said:
We are thrilled to team up with TBR and Dave and extend our already successful partnership. This is a great way to reward families and recognize the Disabled Veterans who have honorably served our country.
Team owner Tommy Baldwin said:
We are thrilled to have Golden Corral come back and support us for the rest of the season. Golden Corral is a well-established company, and we are proud they recognized our team’s hard work and performance. We look forward to competing for a top-10 for the “Racing for America’s Families” promotion and will work hard to build successful programs with all of our partners.
Update: TBR has reached a sponsorship agreement with Big Red Inc. Big Red will appear as primary sponsor of the team’s No. 36 Sprint Cup entry in five races this season: Infineon Raceway, Kentucky Speedway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway, and Texas Motor Speedway.
Combined with the Golden Corral sponsorship, that gives TBR sponsorship for 24 of the remaining 28 races.
