Chrysler Group LLC is teaming up with Universal Pictures on the upcoming film, Fast Five, the fifth installation in the Fast and Furious film franchise. As part of the cross-branding deal, Dodge supplied 2010 and 2011 Chargers for the film.
Canadian businessman Steve Meehan purchased Bake Curb Racing in a deal that closed on March 19th, according to Toronto’s Globe and Mail. Meehan bought the team with plans to make it an all-Canadian NASCAR team with aspirations to make it to the Sprint Cup Series.
