Hi Leon,

Thanks for commenting, and for reading. While I do think Busch got preferential treatment, I can't say that I have a problem with it. I mean, it's up to the officer to determine what the specific course of action should be. I have been given warnings for things that I should have been ticketed before, simply based on the cop's mood. Since Busch is well-known, there's practically no likelihood that he would flee or miss his court date, which is the main reason the cops hold people. So again, I don't have a problem with him not being taken to jail.

With that said, he did receive special treatment because of who he is. I hope he gets a steep fine and loses his license, or whatever punishment is consistent with anyone who does what he did.

It sure appears that ol Kylie Busch received preferential treatment regarding his 128 mph in a 45 mph zone! In most states when you are cited for wreckless driving and/or an excessive amount over the speed limit, usually more than 25 mph over, you get cuffed and taken to jail immediately!

Not ol Kylie! He just gets a citation....come on!!!
