Andretti Autosport To NASCAR?

On SPEED TV’s Race Hub program, reporter Robin Miller said that Andretti Autosport of the IZOD Indy Car Series, may move to NASCAR. Miller said that John Lopes, CFO of Andretti said that the team is exploring a move to NASCAR.

Rumor has it that the team may initially be connect to Roush Fenway Racing, which means they would field Fords. There’s also an assumption that if AA moves, Danica Patrick will stay with the team as it moves to NASCAR, but Miller said he didn’t think that would be the case.

If Patrick moves to NASCAR full time without the team, she is expected to take GoDaddy.com, her current IndyCar sponsor, with her.
