Juan Pablo Montoya said that he expects to return to Earnhardt Ganassi Racing next season. Montoya’s contract expires at the end of the season, but he expects to re-sign very soon. He said:

We’re pretty close. I think we’re pretty close, yeah. … When it’s ready you will know.

Montoya’s comments come after reports that he had already re-signed with the team.
