MWR Suing Former Director Of Vehicle Design, F1 Team

[1]Michael Waltrip Racing is suing its former director of vehicle design, Mike Coughlan who left the team to join Williams in Formula 1 [2] as chief engineer last month, according to SceneDaily.com [3]. MWR claims that Coughlan left the team before his contract ran out. Additionally, MWR is suing the Williams F1 team.
MWR is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages for breach of contract from Coughlan and additional damages from Williams for interference of contract. MWR claims that Coughlan’s departure affected MWR’s performance and resulted in lost prize money and potential sponsorship.
