Despite reports that Ford has stepped in to help Roush Fenway Racing keep Carl Edwards in a Ford for years to come, there are rumors circulating that Edwards will leave the team to join Joe Gibbs Racing for an $8 million base salary and a $10 million signing bonus, which is unprecedented.
