[1]FoxSports.com [2] is reporting that sources are saying that NAPA Auto Parts may leave Michael Waltrip Racing, a relationship that dates back to the days Waltrip raced for Dale Earnhardt Inc, to join Joe Gibbs Racing. The rumor has Carl Edwards leaving Roush Fenway Racing to join JGR [3], replacing Joey Logano in the No. 20 Home Depot Toyota.
Logano would move to a fourth JGR Toyota with NAPA as sponsor. When asked about the rumor a team principal said that NAPA’s contract with MWR runs through 2012 and the auto parts maker is committed to that contract.
