Stenhouse May Replace Bayne In Wood Brothers’ No. 21 In 2012

Ricky Stenhouse Jr may drive for Wood Brothers Racing next season, according to Sirius Speedway ^[1], via Jayski.com ^[2]. The decision will be made in the next few weeks as to whether Trevor Bayne, who won the season-opening Daytona 500 in WBR’s legendary No. 21, will stay in the car or be replaced by current Nationwide Series points leader Stenhouse.

Team co-owner Len wood said:

[Bayne's] done an amazing job for us this season, and we’d love to have him back. But it’s all up to Ford Motor Company and the sponsors. … We’ll probably have a conversation about [whop will drive and how many events] with (RFR President) Steve Newmark in the next couple of weeks.
