Terry Labonte will drive the No. 32 Ford for FAS Lane Racing in the 2012 Daytona 500, the team announced. Labonte drove the season-opener last year and finished 15th with the team.

The No. 32 will feature sponsorship from C&J Energy Services.

In related news, Michael Waltrip Racing struck a deal with FLR in which MWR would get FLR’s owner’s points from 2011 — the team finished 34th in the owner’s standings — to guarantee Mark Martin a starting spot in the 2012 Daytona 500.

FLR could still be locked into the field because Labonte is eligible for a past champion’s provisional. Ken Schrader is also scheduled to drive some races  in the No. 32 with sponsorship coming from Federated Auto Parts.
