Childers Re-Signs With Michael Waltrip Racing

Rodney Childers has re-signed with Michael Waltrip Racing to serve as the crew chief for the No. 55 MWR Toyota. The car has been driven by team owner Michael Waltrip, Brian Vickers and Mark Martin this season.

Childers joined the team in 2008, and led David Reutimann to MWR’s first victory in the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2009. Together, Childers and Reutimann won at Chicagoland Speedway in 2010.

The No. 55 has posted five Top 5s, 14 Top 10s, and four poles.
