Walter Joins MWR As Director Of Race Engineering

Former Penske Racing crew chief Chad Walter has joined Michael Waltrip Racing as director of race engineering. Walter served as crew chief for the No. 22 Penske Nationwide Series team and driver Sam Hornish.

Walter led the team to victories with both Hornish and Justin Allgaier; he also led both to fourth-place finishes in the N’Wide points standings.
