Keselowski’s No. 2 Fails Dover Post-Race Inspection

Brad Keseowski [1]The No. 2 Penske Racing Ford driven by Brad Keselowski during the FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks failed post-race inspection because the car was too low in the front. The car was taken to the NASCAR Research and Development Center in North Carolina for further testing.

While the car was being tested, Penske blamed the issue on a failed part.

Michael Waltrip Racing’s No. 56 team was penalized earlier this year [2], after Martin Truex Jr’s car was found to be too low [3] during post-race inspection. He was docked six points and crew chief Chad Johnson was fined $25,000 and placed on probation.

If the No. 2 team is penalized, it won’t be the first time this season. Keselowski was docked 25 points [4] after NASCAR found an unapproved rear-end housing [5] before the NRA 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
