Terry Labonte Considering Buying Phoenix Racing

Two-time Sprint Cup champion Terry Labonte is interested in purchasing Phoenix Racing from James Finch.

It has been rumored for some time that Finch was looking to sell the No. 51 Cup team.

Bobby Labonte, Terry’s brother and current Cup series driver for JTG Daugherty Racing, said:

James been trying to sell that thing for a long time and Terry told me about it, I hope Terry can do it. I think Terry would like to do it, but you’ve got to get money to feed the cow.

Turner Scott Motorsports co-owner Harry Scott has also been rumored to be considering buying the team.
