Phoenix Racing Sale To Harry Scott Jr Said To Be Complete

According to Godfather Motorsports, multiple sources have confirmed that the sale of Phoenix Racing to Turner-Scott Motorsports co-owner Harry Scott Jr is complete. The sale will be officially announced on Sept. 1 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Current Phoenix Racing owner James Finch will run the team until in an effort to keep the team’s 27th-place points position in the Sprint Cup Series owner’s standings.

It was originally rumored that in addition to Scott, Terry Labonte was interested in buying the team. But, that never materialized.
