Custer To Drive 10 Trucks Series Races In 2014

Cole Custer, driver of the #00 Haas Automation Chevrolet, celebrates after winning the NASCAR K&N Series Pork Be Inspired 150 at Iowa Speedway on August 2, 2013 in Newton, Iowa.K&N Pro Series East driver Cole Custer will drive up to 10 races in the Camping World Truck Series in 2014, according to FoxSports.com.

Custer will wait until he turns 16 to run the Trucks series, but he will only be allowed to run on tracks that are a mile-and-a-half or less.

Custer will run Turner Scott Motorsports-prepared trucks, but will race under the Ken Schrader Racing banner.

Veteran crew chief Joe Shear Jr. will be atop Custer’s pit box.
