Penske Re-Signs Keselowski, Miller Lite

Brad KeselowskiPenske Racing has re-signed reigning Sprint Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski and sponsor Miller Lite to multi-year extensions.

Under the terms of the deal, Miller Lite will appear as primary sponsor of the car in 24 points-paying races in 2014.

Miller Lite had always sponsored the car for the full 36-race schedule. But Penske requested 12 races because they believe that they could sell thoses races to generate new revenue.

Team owner Roger Penske said:

The extensions of our agreements with both Brad Keselowski and MillerCoors put our team in a real position of strength moving forward. This is an important day as these agreements will allow Penske Racing to invest significantly in our people and our technology, two critical areas to a successful race team.

Keselowski signed an extension at the end of the 2011 season that ran through next year, but Penske decided to re-sign him now. The extension is said to be for four years.
