Cope To Be Crew Chief Of JRM’s No. 5

Ernie Cope will be atop the pitbox of JR Motorsports’ No. 5 Chevy in the Nationwide Series in 2014.

Cope will oversee a car that will feature some of the sport’s biggest names: Dale Earnhardt Jr, Kevin Harvick, and Kasey Kahne.

Cope comes to JRM from Richard Childress Racing where he won races with Tony Stewart and Harvick.

Cope said:

I made the move to stay with [Harvick]. We wanted to keep racing together, and we expect to win races or at least have a shot at winning every weekend.
