FLR, GGR Form Joint Cup Venture

FAS Lane Racing and Go Green Racing have combined their resources to form a joint venture for the 2014 Sprint Cup Series season and beyond.

Archie St. Hilaire, owner of GGR, said:

Frank has a great program here at FAS Lane Racing and we believe that by combining our resources, we can take the program to the next level. It’s been my goal to race in the Sprint Cup Series on a weekly basis and this joint venture makes the most sense for both parties.

Former Sprint Cup champion Terry Labonte will drive the No. 32 in the season-opening Daytona 500. The drivers of the remaining races have yet to be finalized.

Veteran crew chief Dan Stillman will serve as crew chief, allowing team co-owner Frank Stoddard to focus on securing sponsorships.

The team will work out of FLR’s shop and will field Fords with engines from Roush Yates Engines.
