Biffle Leaving Roush?

Despite saying that he was close to an extension with Roush Fenway Racing, it appears that Greg Biffle may be looking elsewhere for a ride for 2015.

According to sources close to the situation, Biffle is actively seeking a ride outside of RFR, and RFR is prepared to let him go.

But, a source says that if Biffle does indeed leave RFR in 2015, his sponsor, 3M, would also leave RFR to follow Biffle to his new team.

At the time RFR announced that Trevor Bayne will drive the No. 6 in the Sprint Cup Series next season, Bayne was going to be in the fourth entry from RFR. But, if Biffle leaves, it could be that the RFR was preparing for the loss of its No. 16 and backing from 3M with the addition of the No. 6 and AdvoCare.

If Biffle does leave, that would make signing Carl Edwards to an extension crucial for RFR.
