Edwards To JGR With M&Ms? is reporting that if Carl Edwards leaves Roush Fenway Racing when his contract expires and moves to Joe Gibbs Racing in 2015, M&Ms/Mars will sponsor him in the Sprint Cup Series.

Mars currently sponsors JGR’s No. 18 team and driver Kyle Busch.

If they do move over to Edwards and a fourth JGR Toyota, Monster, long-time sponsor of Busch, is expected to step up as a primary sponsor of the No. 18 team.

Rumor has it that JGR is actively working to add a fourth team to their lineup next season. Both sides remain mum on whether or not they are close to or working on a deal for next season.

But, Penske Racing, reportedly, has no interest in Edwards. And, he recently turned down an offer to drive for Richard Childress Racing.
