No. 44 Stolen Outside Of Hotel

The Team Xtreme Racing No. 44 Sprint Cup car was stolen from a local hotel overnight, the team confirmed.

The trailer, which was white and unmarked, had Travis Kvapil’s No. 44 in it at the time of the theft.

It was parked outside of the team’s hotel, the Drury Inn & Suites in Morrow, GA.

The team has not announced any sort of backup plan, and Kvapil said he didn’t know what they would do, or if they would attempt to qualify for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Update: Team Xtreme Racing’s No. 44 Sprint Cup Chevy has been found in Loganville, GA, according to ABC News.

Despite finding the car, Kvapil will not be able to race in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 because his team withdrew because they didn’t have the car for NASCAR’s mandatory inspection on Friday.
