Aric Almirola made it three-wide for the lead of the Camping World Truck Series VFW 200 at Michigan International Raceway, threading the needle between Kyle Busch and Todd Bodine with seven laps to go. He held on to win his second Truck Series race of the season.
Todd Bodine drove away from Ron Hornaday on a restart during a green-white-checkered finish to win the Camping World Truck Series’ WinStar World Casino 400k at Texas Motor Speedway. The win is Bodine’s first in the truck series this season, and his sixth victory at Texas. It ends a 24-race winless streak.

Aric Almirola and Phoenix Racing have agreed to part ways. Almirola started four races for the team this season. PR lost its sponsorship from Miccosukee Resort & Gaming at the beginning of the season. Almirola has decided to focus on his Camping World Truck Series ride with Billy Ballew Motorsports.
Timothy Peters made a last lap move around Todd Bodine thanks to a push from Jason White, and held on to win the NextEra Energy 250 At Daytona International Speedway. The win is Peters’ second in the Camping World Truck Series. Most of the earlier favorites were involved in incidents, but Peters kept his fenders clean and was in position to make a move when it counted.
Aric Almirola will drive Phoenix Racing’s No. 09 full time in the Sprint Cup Series in 2010. Almirola drove one race for Phoenix last year, he finished 29th. Almirola is also slated to drive a few races for Billy Ballew Motorsports in the Camping World Truck Series.
Billy Ballew Motorsports is in talks with Michael Waltrip about a Camping World Truck Series ride with the team this coming season. Waltrip is looking to run a few races, while Ballew wants him for a full-time ride.
