Chris Moore, who is listed as the team’s gasman, was found to have violated Sections 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing) and 19 (violation of the NASCAR substance abuse policy) of the 2010 NASCAR Rule Book.

Update: Richard Petty Motorsports released gasman Chris Moore after he was suspended for violating NASCAR’s substance abuse policy. RPM released a statement:

RPM fully supports NASCAR’s substance abuse policy and respects the decision to indefinitely suspend Moore. He has been released from his position at RPM, effective immediately.
